Walking with God
Walking with God is for everyone! It's a great way to "connect" with people. We will meet at Granny White Park at 6:00pm every Wednesday throughout the summer beginning June 6. We will have a short devotion, prayer, and exercise together before walking the trail. You may want to bring a family picnic.
HWY 56 Movie Nights
We will have 2 movie nights this summer, one for 5th grade and one for 6th grade. Bring a sack dinner to eat at 5:30. We’ll provide the popcorn and movie! We’ll start the movie at 6:00 and be done around 8:00.

HWY 56 Summer Service Project
God calls us to love one another. Join us for a day of service this June! We will spend around 3 hours working together on a project to help our community. Date TBD.
HWY 56 Day in the Park: June 14
Thursday June 14 we’ll meet at Owl Creek Park for the morning. We’ll have different games to play and devotion time and finish with a picnic lunch at 12:30. Bring a sack lunch please. Drop off at the park at 9:00 and pick up at 1:00. Come for part or all of the morning!

VBS Operation Overboard: June 25 - 28
5th and 6th Graders get to be helpers at VBS this year! Join us for Operation Overboard as a volunteer in a crew or in an activity station! Email Maggie at mjarrell@bumc.net to sign up to help!
HWY 56 Day at the Zoo: July 19
Thursday July 19 we’ll have a wild adventure and go check out the Nashville Zoo! Meet at the church at 9:00 am and we’ll be back by 1:00. Bring $20 for cost of ticket and lunch.

HWY 56 Bridge Weekend Retreat: July 26, 27, 28, and 29 (Formerly known as SPACE Camp)
Bridge is a weekend retreat for current 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
This event will serve as a transition weekend into and out of HWY 56.
Thursday July 26 – Day of Fun – Nashville Shores
Friday July 27 – Day of Service – We’ll work with a variety of organizations to serve others in our community in the morning and afternoon.
Saturday July 28 – Day Away
We’ll spend the day at a camp learning and growing together as a group.
4th and 5th Graders will return Saturday evening.
6th Graders are invited to stay over night for their own time to bond as a group and get to know the Middle School Youth Director. They will return Sunday afternoon July 29.
