Adult Class & Workshop Offerings

The following grid contains all classes and workshops offered at BUMC on Sundays and throughout the week. Our Sunday morning classes are ongoing, while many of our weekday offerings are shorter-term. They meet at 7:30 a.m. every Friday either in the Singles Area or at Dimples.  You don't have to work from home to be a part of this group!  For more info contact Mike Davis at 615.776.4247.  A New Way to Love: Healing Each Other through Marriage Tuesdays, June 5 – July 10  6:30 - 8 pm Led by John Fite, Ph.D., TN Licensed Psychologist-HSP (Counseling Center at BUMC) This program teaches a step-by-step process of: learning a new way to talk & listen, developing a co-created relationship vision, acquiring the skills to manifest this vision, discovering the uniqueness of your spouse, & uncovering opportunities for emotional healing and spiritual growth. The group is committed to providing a safe place for men to share and be strengthened through relationship. Our time together will be an invitation to enter into a conversation; to enter into the mysteries that lie at the heart of who we are. Registration

Registration is helpful for all classes and often required for workshops. If a class has registration available, clicking on the box will take you to the registration page. Generally, we need a minimum of 12 people to hold a workshop or a class. If you have ANY DIFFICULTY in registering, please contact Paula Cryan at pcryan@bumc.net or 373-3663.  Click here or a complete list of classes that are currently open for registration.
 
Need a time or offerings that are not on the Schedule?  We often have one or two spots available in groups that are nearly full or ongoing. Many groups are invitational and welcome new members.  Contact Judith Bone at jbone@bumc.net.

Child Care

Nursery: Infants - 3 year olds
Childcare is not available during the Summer due to very limited demand. We reevaluate this each year. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Judith. 

Between Labor Day and Memorial Day childcare is provided WITH REGISTRATION TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE for all classes and workshops on Sunday evenings and Wednesday mornings and evenings. (The Wednesday evening schedule may vary a bit to account for special programming, choir practice, etc.) There is presently no charge for this service. Contact Meredith Spencer at 324-7239 or mspencer@bumc.net to register your child. SPACE IS LIMITED. Remember to cancel your reservation if your child cannot attend.
