Classes begin week of September 13 ¡Hola! Whether you’re brand new to the Spanish language, or have taken some classes before, we have a series of great opportunities for you coming up! ADULT CLASSES are offered on Monday and Thursday evenings 6:30 – 8:00 pm and on Monday OR Thursday from 10:00 – 11:30 am during the day. We start with Absolute Beginner and go through Beginner 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 and we have a Medical Spanish course on Monday evenings. To register, please email deesebearden@aol.com. NEW this fall: KIDS CLASSES afterschool for ages K – 5th grade!

Classes are on Tuesday or Thursday from 4:00 – 5:15 pm beginning September 14th or 16th. Tennessee Foreign Language Institute (TFLI) instructors present “Club de Español” intended to make learning a second language fun AND educational! The 10-week session costs $200 per child ($100 for each additional child from the same family) and we will offer Beginning 1 and Beginning 2 levels. Register online Haiti Mission Trip October 14-19 Christen Cole will be leading a trip to Jacmel, Haiti, and she wants YOU to consider going with her! This will be Christen's third time ministering to this community and this time, she would love to take along some helping hands from BUMC! This trip will potentially include building projects, medical clinics, a worship conference, assisting with the child feeding program, a Vacation Bible School, and of course lots of relationship building with the children and families there.
