In response to the current economic situation, BUMC has made expanding our ministries to the people most affected a top priority.  A wide range of support opportunities are now available to members and our community.

ReadyResources:  A  guide to church and community resources for the needs of our local community including but not limited to, food, emotional support, housing issues, healthcare needs, financial issues, links to state/federal agencies, etc.    This guide can be found by going to www.BUMC.net/readyresources.

Stephen Ministers are trained lay people who provide free, confidential one-on-one Christian care to those facing job loss, financial concerns and stress in their families caused by the current economic crisis along with those facing other types of life challenges.  Contacts:  Rev. Career Transitions Support Group:  Is offered each Monday evening at 7:00 PM in Haney Hall.
