In response to the current economic situation, BUMC has made expanding our ministries to the people most affected a top priority. A wide range of support opportunities are now available to members and our community.

Stephen Ministers are trained lay people who provide free, confidential one-on-one Christian care to those facing job loss, financial concerns and stress in their families caused by the current economic crisis along with those facing other types of life challenges. Career Transitions Support Group: Is offered each Monday evening at 7:00 PM in Haney Hall. (networking session begins at 6:30PM) This ongoing ministry equips participants with the skills they need to land a position as efficiently as possible in an increasingly competitive market.
