Youth Space Remodeling!  The Humphrey Street Coffee House is coming together!  The painting has taken place, and other updates and additions are happening, but it's not done yet. We have had several youth gatherings to work on other creative elements to be used in the Cafe and their artwork is now on display in the youth area.  We are excited about everything that is happening, for this great partnership with Harvest Hands and how it will benefit the South Nashville Community and BUMC! We have started brewing Humphrey Street Coffee, and it is delicious!!  Thanks for being patient and excited with us. Click here to read the letter that was emailed on May 12 to all youth and parents.  Click here to read more about this process and the exciting changes to come.

This is for Youth Parents to hear about all the various ways your student(s) can get involved as well as all the ways you as a parent can serve in the ministry!
You will also have an opportunity to meet your students’ small group leaders for the new school year. If you have student(s) in both grade blocks, come from
6:20-7:30, so you can still meet all your student(s) small group leaders AND receive info on the Merge Retreat for 7th-8th Grade.

EARN MONEY FOR SUMMER MISSION TRIPS - Help with Kid-Sale Set-Up on Sunday, September 12 at 1 pm and/or Tear Down on Saturday, September 18 at 2:30pm  – BUMC Gym

Progressive Dinner - A Sunday Night in early December.  All of our Grow Groups will start off together at BUMC and then head off to visit a home-centered member of our Church.  With this event, students bring a gift to donate to the Graceworks Manger.  They will then gather in a BUMC home for grade-level appetizers before heading off to a dinner with just their group.  All students end up back at the Church for desert.  It's a memorable night of fun with your friends, serving in the community, and lots and lots of food!
Thrive Celebrations - At the end of the Fall and Spring Thrive semesters, we invite the whole family to come together for a potluck style meal.  We then have a shortened Thrive with worship and teaching so parents can see and experience the same ministry that their students participate in and love.

Rock the Chains - Happens in late April or early May.  This is a Battle of the Bands concert that raises money and awareness for human slave trafficking.

Senior Celebration - Typically happens on the second Sunday in May from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in the youth Tabernacle.  This is an opportunity for our seniors and their families to gather together to celebrate the past and look forward to the future as we honor our seniors.
Annual Youth Fall Kickoff & Picnic - Church-wide event in mid-August that includes:  inflatables, live music, and free food.  Great opportunity to invite your friends and get the year started off with a lot of fun together!
