Sunny Day Club®

The Sunny Day Club®

Tuesdays, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Room A292

The Sunny Day Club®®️ was founded at Brentwood United Methodist Church for persons in the early stages of memory loss.

The mission of The Sunny Day Club® is to provide social interaction, friendship, and stimulation in a caring environment, as well as to provide respite for caregivers.

The Sunny Day Club® allows caregivers a block of time each week to run errands or rest – whatever they need! Caregivers can also attend a Share and Care Group on the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Volunteers provide one-on-one attention. They lead singing, exercises, games, and crafts. Training is provided, and volunteers commit to a background check and regular attendance based on personal schedules.

Membership costs $1 per meeting. Members bring a sack lunch, with coffee, water, and lemonade provided.

Steps to joining The Sunny Day Club®:

1.   Contact Dr. Jeff Wilson at or 615.324.8208, and you will receive a follow-up call. If you do not receive a response in 2 to 3 business days, contact Rev. Casey Orr at or 615.324.7244.

2.   Fill out the official registration packet

3.   Bring completed registration to the first meeting you attend.  Caregivers should expect to stay for the first meeting.
