Woven Women's Conference

A Women’s Conference
at Brentwood United Methodist Church
Saturday, April 22, 2017
9 am - 4 pm

Featuring Christian Authors

MELISSA SPOELSTRA

and BARB ROOSE

"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." -- Ephesians 2:10

Through this gathering of women across our city, we will experience what it means to be God's masterpiece, created anew in Christ. Let's explore the good things he has planned for us and how we can live our lives in such a way that we resemble Jesus in our thoughts, actions and deeds.

Like a beautiful tapestry woven from many different colors and textures, we will affirm different women in their struggles, celebrate their accomplishments, and support them in their faith journeys.

Melissa Spoelstra is an author, Bible teacher, and women’s conference speaker (including the Aspire Events) who is passionate about helping other women seek Christ and know Him more intimately through serious Bible study. Melissa is the author of "First Corinthians: Living Love When We Disagree," "Joseph: The Journey to Forgiveness," "Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World" and "Total Family Makeover: 8 Steps to Making Disciples at Home." She lives in Dublin, Ohio, with her pastor husband and four kids. You can follow Melissa on her blog at MelissaSpoelstra.com or on her Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Barbara L. Roose is an author and speaker whose passion is connecting women to one another and to God, helping them apply the truths of God’s Word to the practical realities and challenges they face as women in today’s culture. She was previously the Executive Director of Ministry at CedarCreek Church in Perrysburg, Ohio, where she continues to serve on the teaching team. While on staff, she co-led the annual Fabulous Women’s Conference that reached more than 10,000 women over five years. Barb and her husband, Matt, live in Toledo, Ohio, and are the parents of three beautiful daughters. You can follow Barb on her blog at BarbRoose.com or on her Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram .
