Human Development

BS Human Dev LogoHuman Development is a core BUMC missional initiative by which we journey with individuals and communities in the work of holistic transformation. This extends to all dimensions of life, such as education, economic, personal, communal and spiritual transformation. Ultimately, we strive to live into our God given potential.  The human development initiative is a collaborative effort to engage in ongoing transformative and measurable ministries that move all the people involved - both the helpers AND the helped – closer to being in right relationship with God, self, others, and the rest of creation.  Development is not done to or for people, but with people.

We have entered a time where our focus turns to the students as they have returned to school and need our prayers and support during this season.  We hope that you will find time to partner with students in our community.  Below are a few opportunities of service however, there are many other opportunities to form deep relationships with those around us!
