Advent 2017

You’re invited to experience the Christmas season through music and worship at Brentwood United Methodist Church

ways to serve During Advent

Skipping Christmas Sermon Series
December 2 - 23
Service Times - Saturdays at 6 p.m., Sundays 8:15, 9:45, 11:05 a.m.
In 1963 Edward Pola and George Wyle wrote a song called, “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” The song is a celebration and description of the activities associated with the Christmas season. But sometimes the activity of Christmas can become a substitute for the meaning of Christmas. In the rush of the holidays, we can unintentionally skip the significance of Christmas. This Advent season, we will study the prophecies of Jesus Christ, the coming Messiah, to prepare us for the celebration and joy of Christmas Day.
