We are glad you are here! We would love to have you join us in worship in one of our various services. We offer worship services on Saturday and Sunday. These services range from traditional to blended.
We have many ministry opportunities going on each week to help you connect with others, grow in your faith and use your gifts. If you are a new youth to BUMC in the 7th-12th grade, we hope you will join us on a Sunday night for worship, small groups, and youth choir.
Last fall, the story of Mr. Fred Rogers led our Lead Team into a discussion about the Great Commandment, which is to love God and love your neighbor. It came up that the way to carry out the mission of disciple-making begins with being a good neighbor. But you can’t be a good neighbor if you don’t know your neighbor. During May & June 2019, we'll learn ways we can get to know our neighbors and better serve them. It will be an exciting time in the life of our church as we see what God will do in our lives!
The 40 days of Lent represents the time Jesus spent in the wilderness preparing to begin his ministry. Lent is a time of repentance, fasting, and preparation for the coming of Easter. This Lent, we will look at the stories of 6 individuals who encountered the Cross in different ways and how God was training them throughout in preparation for the Risen Christ
Isaac Newton said, “What goes up must come down.” The law of entropy says, “Everything has a tendency to decline and deteriorate over time.” What’s true in physics is also true in spirituality. Without discipline and renewal, our discipleship tends to flag and wane over time. We have a Savior who enables us to overcome spiritual inertia and, in effect, defy gravity!
